JUNIOR/SENIOR/POST HIGH YOUTH GATHERING held at Rend Lake 

The Rend Lake Jr./Sr./Post High Youth Gathering was the vision of Ron Dallas in 1992. Even though Ron is no longer with us – we are committed to keeping his vision alive. This Youth Gathering began as a ministry of the Southern Conference, and is now a part of the Central/Southern Illinois Synod's youth programs. This gathering provides youth and adults from all over the synod a chance to gather for worship, small group Bible study, workshops and fellowship. Participants grow in their faith as they learn about God and each other. Much of the program curriculum is designed for them to be able to use it in ministry back in their home congregations and communities. The weekend event is staffed with volunteers from all over the synod including youth and adults who make up the LYO Board and Planning Committee. The event is held the last weekend of February each year at the Rend Lake Resort and Conference Center .
